Thom Weaver – Artistic Director

Thom is the new artistic director of Flashpoint Theatre Company. Having grown up in Cherry Hill, NJ, he returned to the Delaware Valley after living in New York for nine years. As a lighting designer, his work has been seen in the area at the Arden Theatre (The Threepenny Opera, Romeo and Juliet, Blue Door, My Name is Asher Lev), Azuka Theatre (Neighborhood 3), Delaware Theatre Company (Around the World in 80 Days, The Diary of Anne Frank, All the Great Books, The Foocy), People's Light (Snow White, Three Musketeers), New Paradise Laboratories (Mort), Wilma Theatre (Coming Home, Becky Shaw, Scorched), Theatre Exile (Shinning City, American Buffalo), InterAct (Lidless, When We Go Upon the Sea), Lantern (Uncle Vanya, The Breath of Life), and Curtis Institute (il Barberie di Siviglia), among others. In New York and across the country, his designs have been seen at Folger Theatre, Asolo Rep, Theater J, Roundhouse, Two River, Hangar Theatre, CENTERSTAGE, Syracuse Stage, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Urban Stages, Williamstown, Signature Theater Company, The Committee Theatre, The Ohio, Berkshire Opera, Delaware Theatre Company, York Theatre, Summer Play Festival, 37 ARTS, Spoleto Festival USA, City Theatre, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, and Yale Rep.

His designs have been nominated for 5 Barrymores (as well as being a Haas finalist), and a Helen Hayes Award. In 2007 he won the AUDELCO Award for his work on Signature Theatre's King Hedley II, and in 2003 he was Entertainment Design Magazine's Tyro Talent Lighting Designer. As a writer, he is the author of the full-length play A Ballplayer, and the musical Zack and Addie (with composer Justin Ellington). He is also on the staff for PlayPenn, as well as a member of the Philadelphia New Play Initiative and the Wingspace Theatre Group. He received his B.F.A. from Carnegie Mellon University and his M.F.A. from Yale School of Drama.


Marc Miller – Managing Director

Marc Miller is a Philadelphia based artistic professional. Recently, he served as the School Launch Coordinator for the newly opened Pig Iron School for Advanced Performance Training, a two-year certificate program in physical and ensemble devised theatre. Marc serves on the board of directors for the Nichole Canuso Dance Company and on advisory boards for Movement Brigade. He has written and produced for the Philadelphia Fringe Festival and Wilmington Fringe, and has collaborated and performed with a number of directors and choreographers. Marc has a BA from York College in Philosophy and Religion.


Meghann Williams – Associate Artistic Director

Meghann is a founding member and Associate Artistic Director of Flashpoint Theatre Company. Directing credits for Flashpoint: The Little Dog Laughed, The Faculty Room, The House of Yes, The Santaland Diaries and Season's Greetings, The Vagina Monologues. Meghann is the co-creator, co-writer, and co-performer of Chlamydia dell'Arte: A Sex-Ed Burlesque (with fellow Flashpointer Gigi Naglak). Solo projects include Pretty and I Swear This One is Gonna Last and All Those Other Bastards Were Only Practice. Most importantly, Meg is a fierce supporter of the Flyers and the Phillies, but most of all she loves the Eagles.
